Origin

A story that began inside the building.

Mozart began as an interior design practice. The work was large, the buildings were beautiful, and the standard for craft was the entire premise. Years of finishing rooms, lobbies, and entire properties made one thing obvious. The architecture is only the beginning of the experience. What people actually remember is everything that happens inside the walls. The way a staff member greets a family. The moment a resident is welcomed by name. The hundred small details that decide whether a place feels like a destination or a stop.

The turning point arrived through an operator who wanted that same level of attention applied to the human side of their community. Not only the floors and the fixtures. The arrival, the orientation, the recognition rituals, the way the team showed up for residents every single day. There was no playbook for it. The category did not exist.

Mozart was built to fill that space. A practice that designs the entire experience of a place, the building and the brand and the people moving through it, as one continuous body of work. The work began in Florida. Fifty projects in, the language and the systems had matured into something the industry had not seen. From there the practice scaled across the United States, working with the operators most committed to raising the standard of what their category can feel like.

Today Mozart partners with multi-location organizations in healthcare, real estate, hospitality, and corporate. The mandate is the same as the day it started.
